2025 Corolla looks cheap

Hi guys! Huge corolla fan and have a 2014 corolla that I’ve been driving for the last like 8 years. I wanted a new car so went to go test drive the new 2025 Corolla today and was quite disappointed.

I felt like my 2014 was nicer and honestly felt like I was in a toy car. Has anyone looked at the 2025 and felt the same? The door handles felt flimsy along with other things and besides the screen I didn’t see an upgrade and it honestly looked like a downgrade to what I’m driving now.

After driving it I can’t justify spending $23K (yes Ik this is a low cost car) for a new car that feels not new. Now I’m thinking of switching over to the Camry but the cost is stopping me.

Update: Sorry guys, a really nice commenter just told me that a Corolla is not a f**king Rolls Royce.. man I’m glad he informed me, sorry for wasting your time. Next time I’m looking for a car that has a tinyyyyy bit of quality I guess I’ll just have to look there first. Thanks for the help!
