Who receives Grace?
From what I understand, there are two types of graces, sanctifying grace and actual grace. Only those who follow God's laws and confess their sins receive sanctifying grace, as that's the mechanism through which God offers salvation.
But who receives actual grace? From what I've researched, actual graces come in the form of "pushes" that lead people in the right direction or to the Church. I would imagine that everyone receives these graces, or at least enough of them to possibly receive salvation, and then from then it's that person's decision whether to respond to it or reject it. But I can't find a source for this, and it's possible that given the doctrine of predestination, God only gives actual graces to those he knows would respond well to them.
What does the Church teach about the subject? Sources from Church documents would be appreciated!
