Dell G15 5520 charging sometimes

Hello, I bought a G15 a long time ago, ~2 to 3 years ago, it worked fine until now, never had any problems with it, last week, it started displaying a message when i tried to turn it on while plugged it said something like "The AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined" and it wasnt able to charge, even if i kept it plugged, it wouldnt charge, i bought a new dc jack expecting that it was the problem, i changed it, and turns out it wasnt, then i took it to a technician and he did a BIOS reflash, it worked for a day, and then the next day i tried to charge it again but it just wont charge, no messages. The battery icon looks like it is charging, but it doesnt say its plugged-in, i tried removing the battery and turning it on, and it took like 7 or 8 trys, then it turned on and started charging again, but now it stopped charging again.
My ac cable looks to be fine, i tested the voltage on the end and it was right, the green light is turning on as normally, but it just wont charge.
Im looking for someone who had a similar problem and how they solved it, any help is appreciated.
