Day 1 of the ‘Best Drake Album Tournament’ IYRTITL VS NWTS
Inspired by a couple other artist subs doing something similar. We have a lot of downtime right now for new music considering we still got the UMG lawsuit so I thought this be a fun thing for this sub to do in the meantime.
I consulted a few long time users on this sub on the initial matchups that made sense. Had to sneak in Comeback Season to make it an even 16. It was challenging finding the right matchups and paths for each album but I think it’ll make sense once we get further along into the Tournament.
These will be decided by the most upvoted comments between the 2 albums. I’ll be taking into account the upvotes of each comment to decide the winner, so not just one or two highly upvoted comments. It’ll be the total upvotes between all the comments combined. You can also consider any Deluxe’s that came out afterwards, I’m simply using the base cover art for the chart. 24 Hours after the matchup post I’ll tally up the comment upvotes and announce the winner and the next day matchup.
