Bredon is Amyr?

This is pure speculation but I always got the feeling that Bredon was one of the Amyr. I got the impression that when he disappeared he was looking for Cinder/Chandrian in an attempt to stop them?

There's also the bit about when the Cthaeh says that the Maer will lead Kvothe to the Amyr, I always thought that was about Bredon.

Any thoughts?
