My drawing of Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Finished rewatching the series recently and wanted to draw this iconic shot. I used a grid to get proportions as accurate as possible. I used a 4x4 grid but included diagonal lines, making it easier to place my lines. I used a textured fineliner brush that I made for the linework. Shading was done with Procreate’s gouache brush. I added a paper texture with soft light blending and on top of that used banobo chalk to add noise on another soft light layer. Finally I used gradient maps to add colour and a duplicated lineart layer that has some Gaussian blur on it.
