Dakota is abusive.

Taylor is far from perfect. But as a DV survivor I would bet THOUSANDS that Dakota is abusive and she was just reacting to it his aggression and was afraid. Pan back to the police video where she admits to be aggressive AFTER he shoved her/pushed her into the garage, whilst pissing her pants. Thoughts?
