What were Grievous' plans if he won?

In the current canon, Grievous chose to become a cyborg with the goal of wiping out the Jedi. If he succeeded, what would he do next with his new body? Did he know what he would do next, or was he so short sighted, that he didn't realise that he would be a cybernetic freak with no purpose for the rest of his life if he won?
