0.25 for 2 months

Ive been on 0.25 for 2 months. Was suppose to start 0.5 Monday. I called in the middle of the month and it’s on back order again. My doctor called me earlier saying to just go on 1mg. That’s a huge jump. I’ve heard horror stories with 1mg. I 100 percent fully trust my doctor. He’s literally like a best friend. But I’m a bit nervous. This is it I can even find 1mg. Everywhere is out of 0.25 and 0.5 even surrounding cities.
