Will pge cover cost of tree removal?
I’ve got a branch down on the power line connecting from the pole to my house. The affected tree (30+ ft birch) was planted five feet from the pole by previous owner, so any falling branch could take out power to the block. PGE has asplundh out doing tree maintenance this fall, and they pruned it significantly - it’s not like they don’t know about the risk. At this point, I really think it makes most sense for the whole tree to come down to prevent any future issues. Is there a chance pge would cover that? Or would I have to pay as the home owner?
