Getting away from election stuff, what is happening at OKC?

When I first got to my facility, washing out was almost unheard of. Fast forward to now, there are 8-10 pending TRBs for trainees. I don’t think standards have been raised at the facility…I just think OKC is letting a lot more go. As much of a messed up process the academy is, they need to be weeding out the ones who can’t do it so we’re not wasting 4-5 months on people who probably shouldn’t be there. So thanks FAA, maybe you are hiring more people, but the number making it to CPC is far less.
