What to expect when moving here?

As the prompt says, what should I expect when moving to here? Corvallis is on the short list I have of places I would love to relocate to from Utah. With the near proximity of the beach, city life, and outdoors, Corvallis seems like the perfect for for all of my needs. But is there anything I should expect that’s not super obvious if I do end up relocating?

Edit: Thank you everyone for your comments! Corvallis is still on my short list, but a few of the reoccurring comments about housing and not always enough to do have been very eye opening.
