Is there anyway to prevent shine?

I have a couple keyboards that utilize GMK keycap sets, which are ABS and therefore far more shine-able. These are some of my favorite keyboards, but I find myself avoiding using them consistently simply for the fear of ruining the keycaps with shine. Is there a way to prevent shining, other than stuff like washing your hands? I wouldn't mind shine too much, however it would probably be more focused on keys around WASD, which would create uneven shine, making it look even worse.
