Story question about Alex Yu

Do I ever meet him? He seems to be pro using the alien powers. I’ve been avoiding getting any because January said it would make me more alien etc, and sadly the dumb cnt killed December before I could get to them.

So I then basically tried to rush Alex’s room, to get his perspective. But he wasn’t there. I searched his room for a key card, and then went to the shuttle, assuming he would be there. He wasn’t.

How do I meet up with him? I’d like to start using the powers but I want a justification in game to do it. (If I needed to go talk to December before she got bonked, I’ll reset. I’m not tooooo far into the game)
